The article deals with the design of complex systems. The article describes the current state and evolution of information system design and creation processes. The main approaches to the design of complex systems based on classical and systematic approaches are considered. An approach to system design based on the theory of dynamic chaos is described. Based on the results of the analysis of existing approaches to the design of complex integrated systems, the need to develop new models and methods for the design of complex integrated systems is justified. A model of complex and integrated systems based on fuzzy set theory is proposed. The main parameters of the model are defined. A method for constructing a set of connections of a complex integrated system based on graph theory is proposed.
