The paper comprises the development of approaches to the construction of methods for quickly assessing the security of critical information and telecommunication resources. In the work, we use analytical processing of large heterogeneous data on the current and predicted security parameters. The purpose of the study is to develop a mathematical and methodological apparatus focused on methods of optimal filtering and extrapolation applied to security indicators for such resources. During these processes, the indicators vary both linearly and nonlinearly. The optimal filtering and extrapolation are conducted in terms of minimum mean square error. The core peculiarities of this approach are analyzed. The proposed approach allows the assessment of algorithms to learn and adjust the weighting coefficients of filtering and extrapolation to the statistical characteristics of the security indicators. Besides, the approach makes it possible to unify the assessment algorithms, thereby creating the prerequisites for unifying the algorithms for protection and resource management.
