The study of the blogger’s linguistic personality seems relevant due to the growing popularity of the blog as a type of virtual communication. The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the typical features of a blogger’s linguistic personality at the verbal and semantic level of its structure, using the example of French-language travel blogs. As a result of this research, such means of expression as punctuation, font variation, loanwords, as well as a number of stylistic techniques such as irony and epithets were identified. These tools allow the author to give his written statements the emotionality and immediacy inherent in the oral form of speech. The results obtained can be used for further comprehensive analysis of the blogger’s linguistic personality as a complex multilevel structure that finds its implementation in a virtual language environment.
