In this study, the impact of climatic parameters in the region of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the design, construction, and operation of overhead electrical lines is analyzed. The influence of climatic parameters is reflected in the formation of additional loads (ice, wind) on the conductors of overhead lines. The analysis will be necessary for the development of national regulatory provisions in accordance with the Bosnia and Herzegovina standard BAS EN 50341-1:2014.
