This paper proposes a method of using the university venture database to identify the challenges faced by firms seeking to expand their sales size and number of employees by displaying an overall radar chart of the exit strategy factors of the firm. 14 companies were able to determine whether they had achieved an expansion in sales scale or number of employees, and the proposed methodology was applied to these companies. The results showed that the companies that were aiming to expand the scale of sales and the number of employees were conducting solid management practices to establish a business foundation, such as acquiring patents. This helps entrepreneurs and others not only to start their own businesses but also to maintain long-term management after starting.
