The objective of the present study is to investigate the promotive effect of spraying Saidy date palm bunches with micro-nutrients and amino acids on yield and fruit physical and chemical characteristics. The present study was carried out during 2021 and 2022 seasons on 20-year-old date palm grown on the farm located at Kharga Oasis in the center of Paris - New Valley Governorate, Egypt. Bunches were sprayed with micro-nutrients at 500 parts per million or 1000 parts per million and amino acid at 5000 ppm. Spraying treatments were performed as micro-nutrients, amino acid alone, or a combination of them, besides the control treatment (spraying with water only). Results indicated that all spraying treatments significantly increased yield and improved fruit physical and chemical characteristics as compared with untreated palms. Spraying bunches with micronutrients at 500 parts per million or 1000 parts per million singly or combined with amino acid at 5000 ppm were more effective treatments in increasing yield and improving the physical and chemical properties of fruits. In addition, it minimized the harmful heat stress effects.
