This paper presents a wideband linearly polarized antenna with a stable omnidirectional radiation pattern. The proposed technique combines linear parasitic radiators with a main dipole to create and control additional resonant modes. This enlarges the impedance bandwidth while maintaining linear polarization and stable radiation characteristics over a broad-covered band. Simulations and experiments confirm these results on a fabricated prototype showing a wide impedance bandwidth of 41% ( <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$0.65-0.99$</tex> GHz), a stable omnidirectional radiation pattern, and a high efficiency of 80%.
