This study highlights the transition to Industry 5.0 by examining the revolutionary effects of combining blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in a manufacturing context. A methodical application of these technologies over a month produced notable improvements in resource optimisation as well as supply chain transparency, quality control, and communication dynamics. The measurable results, which include a 25% reduction in errors and a consistent rise in production efficiency from the initial 78% to an astounding 90%, are presented in tables with percentage values. Over that same period, there was a significant increase in communication efficiency, from 65% to 85%. Blockchain technology increased supply chain transparency and allowed stakeholders to track materials and goods at a level of detail never before possible. These findings demonstrate the useful benefits of combining the Internet of Things and blockchain technology, demonstrating their immediate and long-lasting positive impact on manufacturing processes. This research provides important insights that will help industry stakeholders navigate and benefit from the changing smart manufacturing landscape as Industry 5.0 takes shape.
