Currently, the monitoring of UHV transmission lines mainly relies on manual inspection and field work, which has the problems of not being able to monitor in real time, low accuracy and high monitoring cost. For this problem, this paper introduces a variety of group legacy transmission algorithm, carried out a research on the optimization of the deployment of monitoring terminals for UHV transmission lines based on multiple swarm genetic algorithms. The safe operation of UHV transmission lines is crucial to the stability of the power grid system, and many people have conducted research on this. The second paragraph of this paper lists some of the existing research results, and the third paragraph describes the structure of the monitoring terminals in this paper and the principle of the classical genetic algorithm, as well as the improved population genetic algorithm used to optimize the deployment of the terminals. The fourth paragraph carries out the testing of the research results and obtains better results. The fifth paragraph summarizes the research of this paper.
