Hydroponics requires constant monitoring and analysis of parameters, which is difficult to do manually at any time of day, regardless of where the user is. Climate change is another significant issue that contemporary farming practices are attempting to address. This paper presents a system for monitoring hydroponics based on the Internet of Things and utilizes a wireless sensor node (IoT). The system is designed to collect data on significant factors such as temperature, pH, and EC. The system consisted of hydroponically cultivated plants that were subjected to various treatments and the system determined parameters of water quality. The plants were treated with different recirculation times of 30 minutes in 1h, 12h, and 24h. Recirculation intervals of 30 minutes every 1h, 12, and 24 hours had a significant effect on the plant harvested. However, based on fresh weight, all compounds studied were significantly greater with a recirculation interval of 30 minutes in every hour of lettuce.
