Systematic literature review demonstrates machine learning predictive utility for genetic disorders in human genomics, highlighting computational frameworks for proactive disease management.
The study of human genes is known as genomics. Owing to the increasing number of hazardous, rare genetic diseases being discovered, it has become important for humankind to conduct in-depth research on genomics so that future generations can be extricated and needful precautions can be taken. As machine learning can now be applied to various fields, we can use it to determine whether a person will suffer from a genetic disorder. Given that the data for the same can be complex and large, deep learning comes into picture. This study conducts a systematic literature review on predicting genetic disorders using machine learning techniques and analyses the findings with the introduction of proposed model and future work.
