This article explores the use of intelligent algorithms to enhance the efficiency and quality of intelligent design for aging-friendly environments. For the spatial layout optimization problem, a review of algorithms is conducted, and intelligent design systems and methods based on genetic algorithms, simulated annealing algorithms, and particle swarm algorithms are studied. This system is guided by the needs of the elderly, automatically optimizing spatial layouts through the collection and analysis of personal information and behavioral data. Simulation results show that the three proposed intelligent algorithms can generate layout solutions quickly and efficiently, with genetic algorithms emphasizing similarity, simulated annealing algorithms providing design diversity, and particle swarm algorithms offering the fastest computation. Case studies demonstrate that the use of intelligent algorithms can greatly enhance the speed of aging-friendly environment design while ensuring comfort. This research provides new ideas for the intelligent design of scenarios such as senior apartments and nursing homes, with significant scientific value and application prospects.
