Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have grown in popularity in a variety of applications, necessitating the use of efficient propulsion systems for optimal performance. This paper compares the performance of the toroidal propeller and the APC Slowfly propeller both at a size of 10" inch for UAV applications using CFD. The research looks at their aerodynamic performance in terms of thrust, lift, and drag. CFD simulations are used to analyze and compare the performance characteristics of propellers. The simulation results provide valuable insights into their respective abilities to generate forward thrust, lift, and drag resistance. This analysis helps to understand the performance of propellers and aids in propeller selection and optimization for UAV applications, contributing to enhanced UAV design and operation.
