This paper describes a method for improving the efficiency and performance of standalone photovoltaic (PV) systems that are combined with energy storage batteries via a two-stage converter. In the existing system, the VSG control is used to regulate the output voltage, and current. The drawbacks like voltage regulation, power issues and high stages in the existing system. So, the proposed system is used to overcome these problems. The Space Vector Modulation (SVM) with Direct-Quadrature (DQ) control techniques is used to maximize energy transfer and ensure smooth operation reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) of the performance index level. This system comprises of DC-DC converter optimizing power transfer to the PV array will charge the battery, alongside a DC-AC inverter facilitating the conversion of stored DC power for AC utilization. The application of Space Vector Modulation in a rotating reference frame denoted as SVM-DQ control, enhances the overall system performance. The system effectively regulates the power flow by altering the voltage and current, thus boosting the overall reliability and performance of the standalone PV battery system. The MATLAB software result shows an increase in system efficiency and power quality, indicating renewable energy integration and energy management in off-grid or grid- connected applications.
