It was first developed for Bitcoin. The interest in this technology has been increasing since the idea came up in 2008. The explanation for the interest in this technology is its attributes that offer security, anonymity and integrity with no third-party association on top of effects of the deals, and so it creates attention-grabbing analysis areas, especially from the angle of specialized challenges and limitations.
