The article reviews procedural aspects of the status of judges of general jurisdiction courts in administrative offense proceedings. The author analyzes authorities of judges in resolution of cases of the mentioned category, offers their classification, which gives an opportunity to prove the idea that the applicable law gives the power to exercise important authorities exclusively to the judges, at the stage of initiation of administrative offense proceedings as well as at the stages of case review, revision and enforcement of rulings (judgments), which distinguishes judges of general jurisdiction courts from administrative authorities in administrative offense proceedings, proves the special position of judges in review of such cases.
