The DDE OnePetrology Igneous Rock Database is part of the DDE Large Science Program, focusing on the collection of global igneous rock age, geochemistry, trace elements, isotopes, and other data. It also provides a data-driven research platform, with the website at H ttps://petrology.deep-time.org/ . The core concept of igneous rock database is the integration of data, graphics, and paper, covering the entire process of magma rock research work. In the process of constructing the igneous rock database, the technology of integrating knowledge and data was adopted to effectively associate the knowledge graph with data. The core is to build an API collection of knowledge and data integration services based on the multimodal database arangodb, covering the entire process of data analysis, mapping, and knowledge reasoning. At present, more than 400,000 sets of sample data have been collected, and two software platforms (website and desktop software) are provided (mobile app planning). The igneous rock database software system is entirely built using open-source software, fully adhering to standards and specifications such as OGC, IGSN, FAIR, etc., and synchronously releasing digital maps such as global igneous rock maps as base maps, which are displayed together with other geological/geographic maps, providing igneous rock researchers with a full process support including data, maps, literature, and tool software.
