In order to improve energy security and reduce the effects of climate change in Bangladesh, renewable solar energy potential can play an important role. However, one of the main barriers to increase the contribution of solar energy in this country is the lack of required space for installing large-scale solar power plants. Optimizing solar parameters to achieve the optimum power could be a significant step towards promoting the use of this source. A MATLAB simulation based data-driven approach using the fundamental equations of solar parameters is therefore proposed to find the optimal PV output in Dhaka, Bangladesh employing different methods for optimizing tilt angle. According to the findings, the average yearly tilt angle is 27.92°, whereas the monthly average tilt angle fluctuates widely between -2.5° and 60°. When taking into account monthly average tilt angles, the highest output was found in November which is 79.40% of the rated output. A maximum output power of 199.09 W, or 66.36% of the rated output, was achieved using the fixed tilt angle yearly approach. The seasonal output is highest during the post-monsoon period and lowest during the monsoon period.
