Global and National Dimension of Domestic Violence in the Context of Sustainable Development and International Security

Domestic violence has no borders and is one of the global violations of human rights, and thus of human security.At the same time, as a rule, for quite a long time at the international and national level, the issue of human rights was considered, mainly, in the context of the relationship between people and state authorities.However, in recent decades, the center of scientific discourse, including that of the international community, has shifted towards the state's obligations to protect human rights in the private sphere as well.This gave impetus, in particular, to the formation of international standards, the purpose of which is to prevent and combat violence in the family.In view of the above, the problem of preventing domestic violence is always in the field of view of international organizations, in particular the Council of Europe, the United Nations, and the European Union.Ukraine, as you know, supports permanent relations with the International Community in terms of practical implementation of the model of mandatory, possible and unacceptable behavior in the exercise of powers by subjects of public administration, including the prevention of domestic violence.Therefore, special attention is paid to issues of ensuring proper cooperation of public authorities with international organizations, both in the context of practical components of the Euro-interactional vector of state development, and problematic interrelated issues of ensuring security at the global, national and individual levels (at the level of ensuring comprehensive human security).At the same time, today the international community is increasingly focusing its efforts on global challenges and threats and, accordingly, offers a comprehensive vision of sustainable development, which has a global dimension, the integral components of which, in particular, are respect for human rights, including the right to personal integrity and safety has a decisive place.This means that the formation of a society free from violence is possible under the condition of proper protection
