In this study, Dual-k Reconfigurable Silicon Nanowire Schottky Barrier Transistor (Dk R SiNW SBT) is investigated and discussed for biosensing applications. We have utilized a dielectric modulation technique to assess the device's sensitivity. The calibration results reveal that the VTH sensitivity of the proposed biosensor is significantly elevated by 94.32% for the NMOS configuration and 83.87% for the PMOS configuration when compared to the conventional Reconfigurable FET (C-RFET).
