This paper addresses the challenges of 3D object analysis, focusing on detection, classification, segmentation, and feature generation, through the lens of deep learning. Leveraging advanced methodologies, we propose a comprehensive solution exemplified by the implementation of a PointNet model for 3D object classification. We first created a point cloud of the object and then we detected and classified the object that in which class the object will belong. Motivated by the increasing demand for sophisticated 3D analysis in practical applications, our research contributes to the evolution of 3D object understanding. The review of different literature underscores the state of the art and identifies gaps, paving the way for the proposed deep learning framework. Key research questions guide our investigation, leading to the development of a robust 3D object analysis paradigm. Experimental results showcase the efficacy of our approach, opening avenues for further exploration and advancements in the realm of 3D object analysis.
