The problems of domestic healthcare are associated with a number of factors that are influenced by the indicators of the economic state of the country. At the same time, the main problem is inadequate financing associated, among other things, with the participation of insurance medical organizations in the healthcare financing model. Comparison of the amount of expenses for the maintenance of the compulsory health insurance system and other extra-budgetary social funds reflect the situation with the financing of the compulsory health insurance system. A comparative assessment of maintenance costs makes it possible to identify the most optimal model for managing extra-budgetary funds in Russia.
