The objective of this study is to examine the learning and facilitating experiences of students with disabilities in higher education institutions (HEI) located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The researchers employed electronic surveys and selective sampling to collect and analyze quantitative data. The study involved the participation of fifty individuals with disabilities who are currently enrolled or have previously been enrolled at five Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) located in Selangor. Only individuals possessing a disability card issued by the Department of Social Welfare were eligible for selection, and participation in the study was entirely voluntary. The research followed recognized ethical guidelines by exclusively enrolling subjects who had provided express informed consent. The findings indicate that the biggest barriers to experience learning and facilitating are related to SWD conditions such as lab, workshop, studio, and/or practical work and lectures. The study emphasizes the need for policy measures that provide an adequate inclusive environment to SWDs for a more inclusive and equitable society. Further research and policy measures are required to address learning and facilitating issues for SWDs in higher education.
