Israel's expansion of its territory on Palestinian territory since independence has been met with reaction by the Arab society and Palestine. This problem remained unresolved as Israel did not take any positive steps despite Palestine's demands that Israel withdraw to the 1967 borders on the way to a two-state solution. No positive results were obtained from the conferences and meetings held between the two states to solve the problem.Palestine's efforts for independence and its struggle against Israel's occupying attitude continued for years with the Palestinian intifada. In the study, the historical process of the problem between Palestine and Israel was examined and the theses of the parties in resolving important problems such as the status of Jerusalem, refugees, borders and settlement areas between the two states were analyzed. It has been examined whether the two-state solution in the problematic region is compatible with the perspective of the two states, the obstacles and opportunities on the path to the two-state solution have been touched upon, and the final point reached on the path to the two-state solution has been discussed. Finally, although it does not seem possible to implement the two-state solution in this process, it has been seen that the one-state solution is not a reasonable option for two states. It has become clear that for an option that will satisfy both parties in the region, the parties must seriously compromise their principles.
