We introduce a novel filtering antenna, referred to as the "Filtenna," with compact dimensions of 125x100x1.67 mm. The filtenna is designed on an FR-4 substrate with a permittivity of 4.3 and is optimized to operate at both 2.28 and 2.7GHz frequencies. This innovative design combines the characteristics of a lower-band pass and higher-band pass filter within its design, effectively integrating the antenna and the band-pass filters. This integrated structure enables the separation of high-frequency and low-frequency components, leading to substantial miniaturization. The simulated results closely align with the measured data, validating the effectiveness of the filtenna in practice.
