The purpose of this study is to learn about the impact of the Daegu tourism industry on the local economy. In addition, through interviews, finding out the satisfaction factors for tourists who have visited Daegu for tourism purposes is necessary. Actions such as recommending or revisiting Daegu by tourists who have visited Daegu to the surrounding people were found to play a very important role in the development of Daegu tourism. Tourist attractions that tourists do not revisit do not develop sustainably and lose their value as tourist attractions. There are several famous tourist attractions in Daegu, but there is a lack of means to promote these tourist attractions to outside tourists. In other words, the probability of visiting is decreasing because outside tourists cannot easily access information about tourist attractions in Daegu. In addition, it was found that tourists at Daegu tourist attractions often felt uncomfortable due to the lack of service facilities, and there is a need to expand more toilets and improve public transportation facilities. The fact that tourists do not feel uncomfortable increases the likelihood of revisiting Daegu. The lack of souvenirs worth purchasing at Daegu tourist attractions should also be supplemented by the Daegu tourism industry. Since it is common for overseas tourists to purchase souvenirs when visiting tourist destinations, it is very important to make and promote unique and valuable local souvenirs. Souvenirs purchased at tourist destinations are also a means of promoting the area to others. The results of this study contribute to the development of Daegu tourism and help more tourists visit Daegu in the future.
