The article discusses the problem of reducing erosive wear of the blades of the flow parts of steam turbines operating in the wet steam region. The last stage of the low-pressure cylinder of a steam turbine was designed. A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) calculation of the designed stage was carried out. The influence of the distribution of flow parameters in the stage stator cascade on such operating parameters of the moisture removal system as the injection pressure drop and the temperature drop of the heating steam has been studied. A moisture removal system has been designed based on a combination of nozzle blade heating and steam injection methods.
