On Some Problems of the Legal Regulation of the Use of Personal Mobility Devices

The article is dedicated to the problem of the insufficient regulation of the legal status of road users in Russia using personal mobility devices (e-scooters, segways, etc.) and rules that apply to them. The paper analyzes scientific views on this problem. The author uses the analysis of the applicable Russian laws and the available international experience in this matter to express a number of legal proposals aimed at ensuring a safe integration of contemporary technical personal mobility devices in the pedestrian, bicycle and automobile space.
