Competing distribution companies strive to offer dependable electricity at a competitive price. According to reports, the upkeep and replacement of transformers pose a significant cost for all these firms. Bearing this in consideration, an IoT-driven monitoring system for distribution transformers has been created to oversee their well-being at regular intervals. The health status is determined by assessing voltage fluctuations, temperature changes, and load capacity using various high-standard industry sensors. The analysis of gathered data relies on the ESP32 microcontroller, while the blynk platform enables seamless IoT integration. This economical system can be easily set up in transformers across any location for remote monitoring, thereby gauging their health and predicting their lifespan.
