In this paper a novel design of wideband 4 element quasi-Yagi MIMO antenna is presented. The antenna shows a 10 dB impedance bandwidth of 56.25 % (2.3 GHz - 4.1 GHz) and an end-fire radiation pattern with an average gain of 3.9 dBi in the operating band. The 4 element quasi-Vagi antenna exhibits spatial and polarization diversity and occupies a volume of 0.46λ x 0.46λ x 0.50λ (λ corresponds to 2.3 GHz). Furthermore, isolation better than 15 dB between the ports and envelope correlation coefficients (ECC) less than 0.02 of the far-zone radiated fields are achieved in the entire band for the 4 element antenna. A prototype of antenna is fabricated and measurements are also carried out to experimentally validate the simulated parameters.
