A super-helical sliding mode observer is designed in this paper to address the problems of high cost, inconvenient maintenance and susceptibility to perturbation of permanent magnet synchronous linear motor sensors. Since the speed of the motor estimated by the traditional sliding mode observer has serious jitter and hysteresis, the super-helical sliding mode observer is used to overcome these problems. From the simulation experiments, it can be seen that after the optimization of the super-helical sliding mode observer, the accuracy of the velocity observation is significantly improved, and the jitter problem and the robustness of the system caused by the sliding mode observer are effectively improved.
