Demand response is an important means to strengthen the flexibility of the power system and to guarantee the bilateral balance between power supply and demand. Based on the subsidy cost of the provincial power grid to carry out power demand response and its saved grid construction investment, this paper puts forward the method of measuring the economic benefit of demand response, and based on the actual situation of a province, the calculation is carried out, and puts forward the reasonable operation interval of the province's electric power demand response, which provides an effective reference for the actual development of the work of demand response.
