Landslides, a pervasive natural calamity, can lead to catastrophic outcomes when they transpire in proximity to human settlements and infrastructural facilities. The identification and surveillance of landslides are paramount for mitigating the hazards associated with these geological phenomena. One innovative approach to landslide detection involves the utilization of Arduino-based sensor technology. These sensors are designed to monitor alterations in the terrain's gradient, serving as an indicator of potential landslide activity. A cost-effective early warning system can be engineered using an Arduino Uno board, a microcontroller predicated on the ATmega328P, in conjunction with an MPU 6050 accelerometer and gyroscope sensor, and a Soil and Humidity Sensor. This system can provide preliminary alerts for impending landslides, thereby enhancing the efficacy of evacuation procedures.
