Multilevel inverters have gained prominence in high-power uses owing because of their capacity to produce waveforms with less harmonic distortion, lower switching losses, and enhanced voltage and power handling capabilities. Among various multilevel inverter topologies, the 15-level multilevel inverter strikes a balance between output voltage levels and component count, making it an attractive choice for diverse applications. This paper provides a thorough examination of a 15-level multilevel inverter employing different control techniques, including sinusoidal PWM, and space vector PVM. The performance of each control technique is evaluated in terms of switching losses, total harmonic distortion (THD), and output voltage waveform quality. The analysis highlights the advantages and limitations of each control strategy, providing valuable insights for selecting the most suitable control approach for specific applications.
