Agriculture, the backbone of our food supply, faces increasingly daunting challenges due to changing climate patterns and water scarcity. The efficient utilization of water resources has become paramount to ensure sustainable food production while conserving this precious commodity. This project introduces a Smart Irrigation System designed to address these challenges by harnessing the power of temperature and humidity sensors. The core concept of this system is to provide an intelligent, automated solution for delivering the right amount of water to crops precisely when they need it. This is achieved through the integration of sensors that continuously monitor the surrounding environment. Specifically, temperature and humidity sensors are strategically placed in the agricultural field. The signal serves as a trigger for a microcontroller, the brain of the system. By responding to real-time environmental cues, the system ensures that water is delivered only when necessary, eliminating the inefficiencies associated with scheduled irrigation or manual monitoring. The benefits of this Smart Irrigation. Moreover, by responding dynamically to changing conditions, it enhances crop health and yield, ultimately improving the economic viability of agriculture. In conclusion, this project represents a technological leap towards sustainable and efficient agriculture. By incorporating temperature and humidity sensors into the irrigation process, it empowers farmers to adapt to a changing climate, conserve water, and increase their agricultural output. This Smart Irrigation System holds the promise of transforming traditional farming practices into smart, resource-efficient, and environmentally responsible endeavors.
