This research explores the adoption of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), a Fintech innovation first introduced by Bank Indonesia. The study employing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, investigates the factors influencing customers in the Greater Jakarta area to continue the adoption of QRIS, with a particular focus on security and trust. A quantitative survey method was employed and was distributed to individuals who both had never and ever utilized the QRIS. The data collected from 458 respondents provide insights into demographic characteristics and customer behaviors in the digital financial technology of QRIS. The analysis was conducted using the SmartPLS software for both model and structural measurements. Results highlight the significant relationships between certain factors and customer's attitudes. The performance and effort of expectancy emerged as positive influencers on users' attitudes toward QRIS, indicating that people are more likely to continue using the system when they find it easy and effective. The social influence and security did not significantly impact user attitudes. This study contributes valuable insights for policymakers and businesses seeking to enhance the QRIS digital payment adoption in Indonesia. In offering a deeper understanding of the customers' continuance, by discerning the specific elements that shape the customers' attitudes, they can make changes to improve user experiences and smoothly integrate digital financial technologies.
