The period 2022–2024 is characterized by the emergence of new and toughening of existing operations for the dissemination of anti-Russian materials in mass communication media. The coverage of these operations af-fects young people, a social category particularly vulnerable to attempts of destructive information influence. The adversary is developing a set of measures aimed at undermining the confidence of young people in vari-ous spheres of life in Russian society, primarily in the power structures. The author shows that in the face of increasing complexity of international relations, this problem is gaining new momentum and begins to play an important role in the educational philosophy and educational policy of the Russian Federation. Besides, the article reveals some directions of the adversary’s work to exert destructive influence on the Russian youth in modern conditions. It is of particular importance to consider the actions that have been and can be taken by the state to combat such information pressure at the level of the educational institution.
