To use optical wireless communication (OWC) in satellite services, forwarding communication between geostationary and low-Earth orbit satellites would typically be implemented. The OWC technology is included in this study to improve the communication in an intersatellite scenario. For this a 4×10Gbps OWC system is designed and investigated for inter-satellite links. Simulation results comprise that maximum satellite range of 27000-36000km for non return to zero and 27000-32000km for return to zero is obtained in architecture. Additionally, eye patterns together with optical spectra provide the design performance for varied range of 27000-36000km. Also, it is verified that design comprises optimum performance over other satellite communication systems.
