Microchannel heat sink is widely used in the aera of heat dissipation of electric device. This paper establishes a numerical model of rectangle microchannel heat sink and an experimental platform for validation. To enhance the thermal performance, the models of interrupted and staggered-interrupted channels are simulated. By comparing the Performance Evaluation Criterion (PEC) the results indicates that the performance of interrupted microchannels increases by approximately 10% to the continuous microchannels, while the staggered microchannels showed the best performance of up to 23% enhancement. Additionally, temperature uniformity increases by about 14% at Reynolds numbers below 150.
