This study aimed to investigate the effect of some additives as Synbiotic , Copper sulfate, Yucca schidigera and Bentonite in the diet and litter in Inshas laying hens. A total number of 240 laying hens, 54 weeks of age, were individually weighed and randomly distributed into 8 equal experimental groups. The T1, T2, T3 and T4 groups were fed the basal diet supplemented with SYN at 0.5g/kg, CuSO4 at 50 ppm, YS at 0.5g/kg and BN at 20g/kg, respectively. The T5, T6, T7 and T8 groups were fed the basal diet and housed on treated litter with SYN at 10g/m2, CuSO4 at 10g/m2, YS at 10g/m2, BN at 10g/m2, respectively. The dietary treatment results indicated that hens received SYN in their diet exhibited the highest egg number, egg mass and egg production rate. Meanwhile, the previous productive traits (EN, EM and EPR) were significantly increased and feed conversion ratio (FCR) was improved for hens reared on litter treated with SYN, CuSO4 and BN. Dietary addition of YS and BN significantly increased yolk weight (%) while SYN and CuSO4 increased albumen weight (%).While, treating litter with CuSO4 or YS increased yolk weight (%). However, hens reared on litter treated with BN produced eggs with thicker shells than the other litter treated groups. Yolk weight %, which was significantly higher for hens reared on treated litters. Alb and TAC was increased for those received SYN in their diet. The highest TAC concentration was recorded for hens reared on litter treated with BN.
