Combined Joints of Building Metal Structures: Conditions and Factors of Their Operation and Deformability

Statement of the problem. The objective of the study was to determine the possibility and conditions for the joint operation of various deformative connections (bolts and welds) in a combined bolt-welded joint. Results and conclusions. Based on the analysis of the results of experimental studies of the authors of the article (taking into account previously performed studies by Prof. Ya. Brudka, Prof. Lee Cheol-H, Prof. Kim Dae-Kyung) it was found that the joint work of various deformative connections is possible in a joint that perceives the shear force, in particular when the bolted joints operated under load are reinforced on conventional, non-high-strength and non-prestressed, precision class B bolts with flanking angular welds.
