Case video demonstrates successful use of WALANT technique for olecranon fractures, implying new surgical options.
The WALANT technique allows for the establishment of an optimal surgical field without the need for a tourniquet, while also permitting the assessment of the elbow under physiological forces (active movement) following fixation. There is limited data on the use of the WALANT technique in ORIF of olecranon fractures, and this case video represents the first such presentation in the literature.
