The Internet of Things (IoT), which integrates objects of daily life with the Internet, has altered how we interact with our surroundings. IoT is becoming more popular, but because connected devices are vulnerable to numerous cyberattacks, it raises serious security concerns. A potentially viable solution has been devised to improve IoT security based on blockchain technology. This article investigates the relationship between blockchain technology and IoT security, identifying important shortcomings, applications, and benefits. This study also highlights their potential to foster a more secure and trustworthy digital future. As the world continues to adopt IoT technology, it is critical to understand its implications, benefits, and limitations.
