Usable and Secure Graphical User Authentication

Text-based passwords are the most often used form of identification. The usability and security limitations of this old authentication scheme are well-known, and they cause difficulties for users. Consequently, an alternate technique is needed to address these issues. The use of graphical passwords, rather than text-based passwords, may be a solution to address the issues that occur from the text-based password system. In this research paper, we propose a graphical password strategy that allows a user to choose a unique colour, shape, image type and an indirect selection method for authentication purpose.
