The article examines the theoretical, legal and informationtechnical aspects of the activities of customs authorities in the administration of customs payments. The dynamics and structure of revenues of the Federal budget of the Russian Federation administered by the customs authorities are analyzed and the factors influencing it are highlighted. Directions for improving the activities of customs authorities in the administration of customs payments are presented.
