Urban features are recognized as important determinants of health, shaping behaviour throughout life. This study aims to investigate the association between neighbourhood liveability-income clusters and three health outcomes that may be related to the ageing process in Florianopolis, Brazil. The moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) was treated as ≥150 min/week, the walking for transport as a regular frequency of ≥3 days/week and the morbidity was categorized as the presence of ≥1 disease. Based on a conceptual and analytical hierarchy multifaceted process, the neighbourhood liveability-income was computed from a 500-meter detailed network buffer around the participant's residence. Multilevel logistic regression, with random intercept modelling, was used to estimate the associations, on StataSE 14 keeping the significance level at 5%. The concept of Liveability can be briefly translated as an index of appraise the quality of city for healthy urban living. As per the adjusted analytical model, the findings show residents living in areas above the median for both liveability and income reported more MVPA and fewer non-communicable diseases while areas below the median of liveability reported less walking for transport. Encourage the promotion of places with well-maintained urban infrastructure, excelling at traffic safety and against crime, with pedestrian street level's amenities and diversity of destinations seem to be essential for liveable age-friendly cities.
