Analysis of the challenges and implementation of the electronic ID card system in Mandor Village, suggesting improved community engagement and administrative efficiency.
The problem in this research is the fact that this policy is not socialized to the community and therefore there is no knowledge regarding the process and the advantages of issuing electronic ID cards. This research aimed to describe and analyze the phases of organization, interpretation, and application in the implementation process of Landak Regent Regulation No. 14 of 2021 on the Administration of Population Registration and the issuance of electronic ID cards in Mandor Village, Mandor SubDistrict, Landak Regency. The findings of this research show that the process of implementing Landak Regent Regulation No. 14 of 2021 in Mandor Village indicates positive attempts by the village government to organize and implement this policy, but there are still several challenges that should be overcome. The community needs to have better access to these services more easily and quickly, which requires more efficient administrative processes, better quality of socialization, and better infrastructure. In order to implement this policy, the village government, the community, and other stakeholders should cooperate to overcome a number of barriers and reach the best policy goals. On the basis of these findings, this research gives recommendations that the issuance of Electronic ID Cards in Mandor Village should be more made easy, efficient and beneficial to the community in addressing their administrative needs.
