Using data samples with a total integrated luminosity of <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:mrow><a:mn>253</a:mn><a:mtext> </a:mtext><a:mtext> </a:mtext><a:msup><a:mrow><a:mi>pb</a:mi></a:mrow><a:mrow><a:mo>−</a:mo><a:mn>1</a:mn></a:mrow></a:msup></a:mrow></a:math> collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the differential cross sections of inclusive <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><c:msup><c:mi>π</c:mi><c:mo>±</c:mo></c:msup></c:math> and <e:math xmlns:e="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><e:msup><e:mi>K</e:mi><e:mo>±</e:mo></e:msup></e:math> production, as a function of the momentum and normalized by the total hadronic cross section, are measured at center-of-mass energies from 2.000 to 3.671 GeV. The measured <g:math xmlns:g="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><g:msup><g:mi>π</g:mi><g:mo>±</g:mo></g:msup></g:math> cross sections are consistent with the previously reported <i:math xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><i:msup><i:mi>π</i:mi><i:mn>0</i:mn></i:msup></i:math> cross sections by BESIII, while the <k:math xmlns:k="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><k:msup><k:mi>K</k:mi><k:mo>±</k:mo></k:msup></k:math> cross sections are systematically higher than the <m:math xmlns:m="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><m:msubsup><m:mi>K</m:mi><m:mi>S</m:mi><m:mn>0</m:mn></m:msubsup></m:math> cross sections by a factor of approximately 1.4. These new results are in agreement with state-of-the-art QCD analyses at next-to-next-to-leading-order accuracy, particularly in the large hadron momentum region at energy scales down to 3 GeV. These findings support the validity of isospin symmetry in parton fragmentation processes.
