This analysis reviews global practices in industrial accidents insurance, suggesting preventive measures for Kazakhstan.
As part of the development of the system of compulsory insurance against industrial accidents in Kazakhstan, it is planned to work on improving legislation in this area. Therefore, it is important to take into account measures to prevent accidents at work in different countries. The main purpose of this article is to give recommendations on preventive measures in the Kazakh situation, considering the foreign experience of industrial accident insurance. The scientific and cognitive method was chosen as the research method. The study showed that in many countries, the insurance program against industrial accidents and occupational diseases is a widespread form of social security that already exists. Such insurance programs provide for medical support, payment of benefits or professional rehabilitation to workers who have suffered from accidents at work, injured or occupational diseases, as well as the payment of survivor benefits to family members of workers who have been involved in accidents at work and died. With an overview of foreign practice, recommendations are given on preventive measures in insurance against industrial accidents and occupational diseases
