This analysis explores the effects of wind load and tensile stiffness on mooring load in aircraft, indicating critical design aspects.
In order to solve the problem of low accuracy of mooring load calculation, based on the nonlinear finite element numerical simulation technology, considering the nonlinear factors such as landing gear system, airframe stiffness, tire-ground contact and so on, a three-step loading method of gravity, mooring rope pretension and wind load is established to simulate the mechanical process of aircraft mooring accurately. The influence of four key factors on mooring load is analyzed, including the dispersion of mooring rope tensile stiffness, wind speed, heading, center of gravity (CG) and friction coefficient. The influence of the tensile stiffness of the mooring rope and heading CG on the mooring load is related to the direction of the wind load. The wind speed is positively correlated with the mooring load, and the friction coefficient is negatively correlated with the mooring load. The above conclusions have important guiding significance for engineering applications.
